Recently, our team sold and installed a Komori L628 + C Offset Printer in Cali, Colombia. This pharmaceutical company prints on metalized material, a porous substrate that does not absorb ink well and requires extended drying time. The UV LED lamp system dries the ink immediately, enabling faster and more efficient production. In this way, time and resources in the printing process are optimized, ensuring better quality for the final product.

UV LED lamp technology has revolutionized the printing industry, allowing greater versatility and efficiency. Traditionally, color printing uses water-based or oil-based inks. However, these inks do not always function efficiently when printing on specific materials (such as plastic or enamel-coated surfaces). This is where UV LED lamps play a crucial role. Using ultraviolet light, they dry the ink instantly, allowing the material to come out dry and ready for the next step in the production process.
